Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ is one of over 80 chapters nationwide.<\/p>\n<p>The Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ chapter was charted in Fall 2008 and to date has inducted over 800 members.\u00a0 Once initiated Tau Sigma members have access to a variety of scholarship and leadership opportunities.<\/p>\n<p>To find out more information about Tau Sigma please visit <a href=\"http:\/\/tausigmanhs.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">tausigmanhs.org<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h3>Scholarships for Tau Sigma Members<\/h3>\n<p>There are both national and local Tau Sigma scholarships available to members.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tau Sigma National Honor Society annually awards over $25,000 in scholarships to its members.<\/li>\n<li>Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­ awards five members a one-time\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/ecampus.adelphi.edu\/sfs\/au_scholarships_grants.php#tausigma\">$500 scholarship<\/a> each semester.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Scholarships are determined by a member\u2019s involvement in and service to the chapter, involvement in and service to the university, service to the community, and continued academic achievement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tau Sigma is a national honor society whose purpose is to recognize the academic achievement of transfer students.
