This workshop is part of the Communications Masterclass series.

Participants earn a Certificate of Nonprofit Communications from Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s Center for Nonprofit Leadership—credentialing and skills that you can demonstrate to your Board, leadership team and staff.

Workshop Learning Objectives

Learn how to communicate with confidence during moments of organizational change, from leadership transitions and funding shifts to program changes and unexpected disruptions. Participants will explore how to build trust through transparent communication, align internal and external messaging, address the needs of different stakeholders, and make values-driven decisions when the path forward is uncertain.

Leading Through Uncertainty: Strategic Communication During Organizational Change Workshop participants will be able to:

  • Assess communication risks and opportunities during organizational change
  • Build a stakeholder communication strategy that strengthens trust and alignment
  • Craft clear, values-driven messages using a strategic communication framework

Certificate of Nonprofit Communications

This program is built for:

  1. Executive Directors and CEOs who are setting organizational directions
  2. Senior staff who manage donors, media, and community messaging
  3. Board members who are responsible for governance and public trust

Our masterclass is ideal for 2-3 leaders to attend together so your organization builds shared language and strategy, not merely individual skills.

This certificate course offers a peer learning environment that fosters collaboration and support. Each cohort brings together a small group of nonprofit leaders working through their real-world communications challenges so you each gain feedback from peers and guidance from our expert instructors.

Tuition for the Certificate

  • $1,000: Certificate of Nonprofit Communications (18 hours)

Participants leave with a full messaging framework and a crisis communications plan tailored to their organization.
