Participants earn a Certificate of Nonprofit Communications from Âé¶¹´«Ã½Ó³»â€™s Center for Nonprofit Leadership—credentialing and skills that you can demonstrate to your Board, leadership team and staff.
Workshop Learning Objectives
Build an effective external communications plan—building off of what you currently have in place at your organization—to market your value for others to buy into what you do.
Topics include web and digital assets, using in-house marketing or vendors, effective storytelling, marketing principles, building strategic partnerships, positioning your organization in the community, and capitalizing on word-of-mouth.

- Assess your current communications ecosystem
- Develop an external communications plan
- Craft compelling organizational messaging and storytelling
- Evaluate and prioritize communication channels
- Apply relationship-centered marketing principles
- Create a realistic implementation roadmap

This program is built for:
- Executive Directors and CEOs who are setting organizational directions
- Senior staff who manage donors, media, and community messaging

Tuition for the Certificate
- $1,000: Certificate of Nonprofit Communications (18 hours)
