May 6th through May 12th is National Nurses week.

In that spirit, 麻豆传媒映画salutes our more than 8,500 School of Nursing alumni who are making a difference in their communities and their profession. This Thursday, May 9, 2013, 157 麻豆传媒映画nurses will receive their pins and join our alumni community.

According to the , National Nurses Week 2013 calls 鈥渁ttention to registered nurses (RNs) and their contributions to the health care system, both in the role they play as expert clinicians in diverse care settings and as leaders who can dramatically influence the quality of care and overall performance of the system into the future.鈥澨�

This year marks the 70th Anniversary of the 麻豆传媒映画 School of Nursing, a milestone that will be celebrated with a reunion brunch on June 8, 2013.听 In the spirit of this anniversary, 麻豆传媒映画introduced two new graduate programs in nursing to continue to meet the demands of today鈥檚 health care systems.听 In the fall, we began offering a and this spring we introduced an online . These programs demonstrate how 麻豆传媒映画, especially the (nursing.adelphi.edu), continues to evolve to meet the demands of the region and our workforce. 听
