Develop Your Future.<\/h2>\n<p>The Bhis\u00e9 Global Learning Experience (BGLE) prepares Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­students for success in a global workforce through a two-week immersive study tour in India. Established through the generosity of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adelphi.edu\/giving\/societies\/eighteen-ninety-six-roundtable\/million-dollar-roundtable\/bharat-and-swati-bhise\/\">Bharat Bhis\u00e9, MBA \u201978, and his wife, Swati Bhis\u00e9<\/a>, the program is preceded by a fall-semester course introducing students to India\u2019s history, culture and contemporary society.<\/p>\n<p>In India, students visit businesses, nonprofit organizations, healthcare facilities and educational institutions, engaging with local leaders and students. <span>They also experience India\u2019s rich culture through concerts, dance performances and visits to sites of historical, cultural and religious significance. <\/span><span>These experiences encourage students to reflect on India\u2019s cultural and social diversity, while deepening their understanding of global interconnections. <\/span><span>These experiences are made possible through the Bhis\u00e9 family\u2019s <\/span>longstanding<span> connections, which provide students with meaningful access to a wide range of organizations and leaders.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&#8220;Young people must be exposed to different countries and cultures to broaden their horizons and gain new perspectives. It&#8217;s a critical part of being able to succeed in today&#8217;s world,&#8221; says Mr. Bhis<\/span><span>\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Bhis\u00e9 Global Learning Experience is open to Â鶹´«Ã½Ó³»­juniors and seniors who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, open-mindedness and a genuine curiosity about the world. The study tour takes place each January, and participants are selected through a competitive application process.
